General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
From the 25th May 2018, the new General Data Protection Regulation comes into force. This is a new legislation that unifies data protection across all EU countries, including the UK (Brexit does not alter anything here).

An overview of the GDPR can be found online here (external site).

New Members
A "new member" is one who either has never joined our club OR has allowed his membership to lapse for a period of 12 months or more.

New members join on a three-month probationary basis. This means that, after three months of membership, the Committee will decide whether the new member will be allowed to continue in membership or not. If you fall into this category and after three months the Committee decides that you may not become a full member, then you will receive a refunud of the portion of the year for which you will no longer be a member.

For example, suppose a new member pays on 1st March 2018 for a full year.
If, after that time, his membership is not approved then the member will receive a refund of £54, which covers the remainder of the club year (less the joining fee).

BMFA fees for 2018
Senior £34.00
Junior £17.00

Application Form (DOC, Microsoft Word) (right-click and choose Save As...)

The two copies of the application form are identical.

For the PDF version, you will need a PDF reader such as Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader (both are free downloads).
For the DOC version, you'll need Microsoft Word or a compatible product (please be aware that Open Office does not always render DOC files correctly, so if you use Open Office then you may be better off with the PDF version).

Please note that BMFA memberships are not processed by the Club; you are responsible for sorting this out for yourself.
